Cool Hey guy

Hi all!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello, and see what all the talk about this was!

Iam glad to see so many men involved in this "diet"

I am having a great time with it!

Anyone help me out here!
I have been losing a bunch of LBS pretty fast, I started getting creative with my meals, and the weight loss has slowed!

anything I can do to help it speed up again? or do i have to go back to eating blaw dinners?

I am stayingon induction for sometime, so I have stayed under 20g for the past 6 weeks. anyhoo I look forward to the support!

Anyone from MN or ND?

Cool Over the hump

Hey! You see that guy over there that weighs less than 300 pounds?? THAT’S ME!!!!!!!

Down 127.5lbs today! So freakin' happy I could...I dunno, I'd do something if I wasn't so swamped at work. Friends due in this weekend tho, so I'll cut loose and party with them.

Keep a goin', all!

Donald

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

(Hey, I may not look like a cheerleader, but you can use your imagination )

That's quite a milestone to break 300 lbs, how long ago was it that you broke 400???

Sounds like you're very commited to this WOL, good for you, the differences you're experiencing must be amazing.

Keep going...........

Duncan

Default NEW

New to the group here. There are 5 guys my weight and we've all decided to drop some weight by Christmas. The goals are anything from 90 pounds to 50 pounds over 9 months. My goal is about 60, but I'll take more if I can get it off. I'm the only one doing the lo-carb approach. Only on day 5 of INduction, but I'm not "full of energy" yet. However my cravings are gone (for now) I weigh in Sunday. Could use support guys

You CAN do this, challenged!

If you stay true to the plan, you should morrir the studies and lose as much or more than your friends and with a lot less stuggle.

Induction can be tough, but ride it out. It definately gets better once you're through that 2 weeks. Best not to make any long term decisions about this WOE until after Induction and then a week or two more. By then you shuold feel noticiably different.

And don;t overlook the importance of exercise. I lost about 80lbs without exercising at all, but why not get up and move? Start by walking. That's what I did and it really jumpstarted my weight loss.

Good luck & keep us informed!

Donald

Default Hello Challenged

Welcome!

Donald is right about the exercise. If I could add to that I would recomend weight training. I was never into weights but now I see how they help with weight loss. In a nut shell...The more muscle mass that you can build the more fat you will burn through the day. The new muscle needs energy and will help burn the fat. Also the exercise is great and burns fat as well.

I am inching closer to the 200 mark. I was psyched to see the latest 3lbs go because I missed a week at the gym and still lost weight. I had been sick and was not getting any exercise.

Almost there!

Hi guys,

Just popped in to nag--I mean, say hello!

Stumbled on your thread and couldn't stop reading. You guys are a hoot. Sorry to invade - I'm not staying long, I promise.

Go figure you'd inject the whoosh fairy with testosterone and transform her into a monster truck! (Love the image of it hauling away stinky donaldlard!)

Too funny, guys. You're a real bunch of losers! Keep it up!

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming....

Default Hi Guys

Hi all,
my name is Graeme aka thebigman(surprised that name was still free, I've used it for years), anyway good to join you all.
I have read through quickly some of your posts and it is very encouraging and good to see so many guys getting on with this eating plan.
I have just come to the end of week one induction and can't believe just how great this plan is, I am settled and never hungry in fact it's hard to eat enough calories.

As I am 336lbs and working out about an hour cardio 3x a week I found today I just didn't have my usual energy, but listened to my body and slowed down a little, have any of you had a simillar experience, heavy body weight and exercise, should I eat some Carbos before I go, if so what?

Thanks in anticipation of your replies and as I said good to be here and hope to contribute to the general disscussions and support.

Graeme.
