Question aspartame

I am new to the Atkins diet and have a question about artificial sweeteners. I dropped a quick 4 pounds and now, although I am following the diet strictly (no cheating, I swear!), have not lost any more weight and am no longer in ketosis. I had been when I last tested. Dr. Atkins says that aspartame might be the reason. Does anyone know if the artificial sweetener sucralose has the same effect as aspartame? I have been drinking many things with aspartame as well as sucralose. Should I cut out both from my diet or is aspartame the only culprit? Help! I am very discouraged.

Realistic weightloss expectations are 10% of the amount you wish to loss during induction and 5% of the remaining weight to lose each month after.

It looks to me like you have exceeded the averages...

This isn't a quick weightloss diet.

This is a way of life where you eat until satisified and gradually get to your goal weight.

You can try to cut the aspertame and see if it triggers something but... you don't have much to lose so it will go slowly for you.

All the best.
