Question caffine

Can you tell me how important it is to eliminate caffine while following the atkins diet? If I mix decaf and caffinated coffee equally is that ok or do I need to stop caffine all together? Also, I loaned my book to my sister-in-law and she gave it away and I can't remember all the ok things in the induction period. Is there somewhere I can get a list without buying the book again? Thanks for your help.

It seems like very few people stop drinking coffee and do quite fine with low-carbing. But, coffee can raise your insulin levels which is why you are advised not to drink it to give your bidy its best shot at succeeding.

If you type 'Atkins Center' into a search engine, it will take you to the Atkins site.

Well, I have been drinking coffee since the beginning and I have done fine. I really don't think it is that big of deal to stop it all together, but it might be different for you or anybody else...

Good luck
