aha this made me laugh :') thanks. And Lstump i will definitely post what i have been eating so i can see weather or not i am going wrong.
By the way, i continued reading the book today, and found a weeks worth of induction (the induction menu) I think it is called. Shall i go for this? Did any of you decided to begin with this particular menu?

If you can do this in your present situation, it's an excellent way to start. It's designed to let you experience a nice range of low carb choices, and eliminates the "is this right?" questions as you learn the ropes.

Dr Michael Eades has some suggestions for getting through your body's changeover to burning fat instead of carbs here:

Lots of water and fat! And get some potassium from the drugstore; but salt & salt substitute also work. Fat burning is more efficient, so your body is going to dump a lot of water, and that can temporarily unbalance your electrolytes. Lots of good advice at the link.

I didn't have "carb flu," I just felt like my muscles were tired, as though I'd spent the morning swimming. It lasted like a week, and then I revved up and felt great!
