Here in Ft.Worth, we have Texas De Brazil....the same restaraunt you are describing....it is meaty!!!!

I went to my first churrascaria in Lima, Peru 21 years ago while adopting DD #1. Sat my then 22 month old on my lap and we had a blast. The waiters cut up her food for her because I couldn't keep up with her appetite. Thanks for bringing back a good memory.

Here in NC, they just call them Brazilian steakhouses. There are several in the Triangle area of NC. Unfortunately, I just can't eat enough to make one of these places worthwhile for me.

Sometimes they charge by the weight you eat, not an all you can eat deal. That might make more sense for you.

there is a similar restaurant in vancouver (canada) and in vegas. it's called samba... it. was. meat. heaven!

when i went for a friend's birthday last month, it was under $30 for dinner. all you can eat MEAT! and similar salad/cold bar... it was amazing!

I am so glad I found this thread. My kids are taking me out tomorrow and we were going to go to Cracker Barrel because they have a fairly decent low carb menu.

I did a google search and found a Brazalian restaurant in Pittsburgh, read the awesome reviews on it, and just made a reservation for tomorrow.

My kids are super excited now and so am I. I can't wait until tomorrow!
