Congratulations on getting off to a good start this time.
Ditto on the eggs. The hysteria about eggs (as I recall) had to do with the amount of fat in the yolks and how that promoted "bad" cholesterol--old news, and certainly not a factor in low-carb eating.
In my long experience with weight management, and successful low-carbing, wine has never seemed to have much effect one way or another on gains or losses. For that reason, I can talk myself into being rather casual about it.
Unfortunately, it's one of those things to which I am easily habituated. "Just one glass" almost always leads to two. "A glass on Friday" will eventually lead to a glass on Saturday and Sunday. You get the picture. I'm better off just leaving it alone, or assigning it to VERY special occasions.
Alcohol does appear on the carb ladder, and many experts suggest that "moderate" alcohol consumption is even healthy.
You decide for yourself.
Best wishes.
