Question Setting goals

Hi guys

Advice needed.

I'm at about 140 now and not sure what my target should be.

I'm pretty happy with my current size (8 - 10), I just need to tone & firm up a bit.

I'm thinking my goal should be 135, but I regain easily, so to allow for weight gain once I'm off induction, I've been saying 130. Unfortunately, that's a bit skinny for me (I'm 5'7" and fine boned).

So, all who have gone before..what do you think I should aim for?

That is kind of a difficult question to answer for someone. What weight has been the most comfortable for you? I guess that would be the best answer.

I am also very small boned, 5' 6", and have spent my of my adult life in the 105 - 110 range (size 2 - 4), which is very comfortable for me, but may be way to small for others. I am in the 8 - 10 range now, but for me I still feel FAT and uncomfortable.

Also as you tone your body you will be gaining muscle which takes up less space, but does weigh more than fat. So I guess my answer would be - when you feel good, look good and are comfortable with yourself go into maintenance phase.

The only weight goal that I have set is kind of a tenative goal. Meaning I don't really know what I will look like or how I will feel until I get there. Right now I think I would look pretty good at 195, but who knows I might get there and realize that I still have a ways to go.

Just goes with what ever makes you feel good.

Hard question to answer for someone else. I'm fine boned as well and have weighed anywheres from 110 lbs to 165lbs. I'm 5'6''. I have to say though that I am most comfortable around 130 - 135 so that's what I'm aiming for. Lower than that and I feel I'm too thin. You'll have to decide what weight feels best to you. Look at it from a health perspective. When do you feel your best. The numbers on the scale are just that, numbers. When you are fit, firm, healthy then that's the perfect weight no matter what the scale says. JMHO
