I’ve been lurking and not checking too often, as have been crazy busy at work and then vacation and now getting the kids ready to go back to school. But I’m still here.

Congratulations, Hoosierguy, on the big milestone. That’s awesome!!

I'm still here. Fighting with scales, had a carb overload over the weekend but back on induction this week and the weight has gone steadily down. Feels good. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Hello Everyone,

I'm still also here and I'm happy to report my weight today at 197.0. I had gained back 10 lbs cuz I fell of the wagon but now I'm back even stronger.

Welcome! So glad you chose to join us. I tend to weigh every day. That way I can keep track of what is going on in my body. If I see a slow or a gain, I know I've done something wrong. Eaten too much sodium, too many carbs, etc...

I suggest you track your food in MYPLAN above. Easiest thing. Its so easy to think you're eating a certain amount but you miss all the hidden carbs.

My last advice would be, read the book. If you haven't read Dr. Atkins NEW Diet Revolution, do so. I'm rereading it these past few weeks and its so eye opening! I'm on induction this last week and will stay on it for a few weeks I think.

You and are about the same weight/place although I want to lose a bit more. Would welcome a new buddy on this journey to thintown. You can do it!

Oh! Don't forget to start a journal so you can see your progress, and so we can visit! lol

Congratulations on getting hitting 275!! You and I have similar starting stats, so I know what a thrill getting below 275 is.

I'd love to join. I've lost fifty pounds already through exercise and I just decided four days ago to start atkins and reach my goal of losing another 100 pounds by my b-day next year, July 13, 2010.
