Dear Fantasia,
Congratulations on your weight loss and all the problems solved! The 'low grade fever' is normal. I get it when I am in ketosis.
Our bodies never evolved to eat so many carbs as we do (or did!)
I went off the diet for three weeks at Christmas. I was staying with my sister so I didn't impose my diet on her. What amazed me is just how many carbs people eat!
Try and introduce veggies - maybe you could start with salads.
