Talking Low Carb - Amsterdam (Holland)

Hello.
This whole idea of LC came to me while I was searching the web. I had no intention of going on a diet (since well, each time I say I am on a diet, I just start eating more!!!)
Before Christmas, I bought Atkins'book, but HAD to finish all the food the family had left after the holiday....I then started INDUCTION again on January 6th.

I read a lot of doc on the web, and what I do is no specific REAL food plan. I just know I need to lower my carbs and from time to time, I check WHAT I can have. I have several printouts.
The point: of course, I can admit I am not LARGE however I am bigger than I should be, and those love handles do not do me any favour!!!

I actually eat so many DIFFERENT foods, it is amazing. I even feel that I eat better than before, 3 times a day, LOADS of water (forcing myself bad.. ).
My objective is to limit those carbs but do so while eating the foods I love. What is the problems with looking at what you eat? Checking CARBS is no different (if not easier) than the situation where you need to count calories.
I am not sure this is real... but I seem to have lost 3 kilos in 1 week while eating normally (LC: plenty of meat, fish, egg, mushrooms, olives..) I am still on 'INDUCTION'

Joy oh Joy: I went back to London this weekend and bought everything I could from Sainsburys: bacon, already made meals (checking their sugar and carbs contents). It is amazing what you can do on this diet.

Now let's see how far I can go.......

Getting all that water in at first is not easy, I know. It took me MONTHS till I was drinking 3 liters a day! Anyway, best of luck to you!

Good luck Eva!

I know in the beggining that it seems weird that you can eat all of the foods that people have been say no to for years. But it does work! Congratulations on you new low carb journey!
