My name is La Donna. I am from Fayetteville, Arkansas. I am 19 and feel very uncomfortable with my weight.

I have read a lot of posts and every memeber seems very supportive and that gives me the confidence that this site will give me the help I would like and need.

My mom is starting the Atkin's diet as well. She plans on becoming a member. She and I will be diet buddies.

Congrats!! You have taken one of the most important steps in this whole process, which is making the decision to START! I think it is wonderful to have your mom with you. Support for each other is also a good thing!!

I cannot believe how good I feel! This has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself.

May I make a suggestion...?
Make sure to pick up some ketosis sticks to check your urine for the fat burning status while you are on the Induction Stage. I found this to be a mental supporter and gave me determination to get the color a purple. It also helped when I didn't see the scale drop, but I knew what my body was doing!!
