Wink Hello fellow low carbers

Well about to start back on this WOE after going strong for about 2mo., than caught the stomach flu and it kinda blew EVERYTHING out of the water! I feel SOOO terrible now i.e.- sinus trouble, bloating, headaches, fatigue, lack of energy, etc., etc. I feel SOO guilty most nights b/c I blew it, I don't even know what to fix for dinner I am planning on starting back on the induction after the holiday and to stick w/it this time. I thought I was deprived before, but now I see how GOOD I really did feel! Anyway keep up the good work everyone as it is not only for weight loss, but better HEALTH too!

Hi there Hezz, welcome!

I'm sorry to see you're feeling so bad. Hope you feel better soon.

Have a good look around this wonderful site. The orange bar at the top of the screen has a lot of useful info, especally "Low Carb Tips."

Cheers.

Hi Hezz! Sometimes, you have to lose something before you realize how much it meant to you. Most of us fall off the wagon every now and then, only to happily return!

I originally used this as a 'diet' to take off weight I had gained on a medication, but the drastic improvement in other health problems has converted me to a low-carber for life. Sure, I cheat every now and then, but those are now exceptions, not the rule.

Merry Christmas to you!

Hey Liz- Yea the flu is gone, but I believe one of my big problems is candida(yeast) & why I react SO badly to eating sugar, white flour & "yeasty" foods. I am do to start back full fledged on Dr. A'S induction on Monday - just mainly trying to stay away from public enemy #1 -SUGAR- right now! I'm really looking forward to starting anew and feeling better and shedding those unwanted pounds that have hung on for too long! Take Care!
-Hezz
