If fish oil is responsible for the improvement by itself (and it's not that high fat diet, low carb diet we follow ) I guess there's no need for statin drugs after all; everyone can just take fish oil.
Not everyone who follows low carb takes it, but it's true that many do. Maybe because they follow Dr. Atkins' very good advice to take supplements?
Taking fish oil, on the other hand, does nothing to explain the dramatic drop in triglycerides which are also responsible for the improvement in cardiac profiles that many on low carb experience.
Sounds like yet another "expert" trying to explain away the benefits of low carb and push that "other" way of eating.
