Default Atkins Shakes

I use Atkins shakes, mostly for breakfast. I hate to eat the first thing in the morning and will just not take the time to do it. I've found drinking a shake is the only way I'll get anything in some days.
I'm wondering if this is good for me though. They look like a good thing and they say they're the most nutritious shakes available. I do manage to eat some eggs and bacon a couple of times a week when DH whines loudly about not having any breakfast.
What do you all think? Are they a good thing or do they cause people to stall?

I'm going to give you a generic response that floods these boards. It really is an individual thing.

It doesn't help much, I know, but it really is true. Lots of people have success eating bar and drinking shakes, but others complain about them like they're the devil. Pay attention to how you feel and see where your progress is. Or try to complicate your morning routine with a hearty breakfast for several days and see if that's the week you drop a couple pounds. If the shakes fill you up and don't make you crave junk at lunch, they're probably working fine for you.

Happy low-carbing!

HI
I have a shake every now and again...my motto is...(drum roll)...

Food is best, a shake is 100% better than nothing at all.
Looks to me like you're doing a great job!

Thank you so much for your replys and kind words of encouragement. I'm kind of discouraged or looking for some reason why I'm not losing as fast as others. I've been doing this since 8-9-02 and I keep staying at 253 or around that. I sometimes go down to 250 and then I'm back to 256. I exercise everyday. Between 15 min and 1 hour a day. I am always in ketosis according to the stixs. I just don't understand why I'm not losing weight. I thought a month ago it was because I was gaining muscle, but now I'm not at all sure about that. I am stronger, but shouldn't I be losing weight a little bit?
