Default Ideas for getting RID of "pointy pecs" and man boobs

I have excessive amounts of fat beneath my nipples making my pecs look pointy. My inner chest is toned and muscular, but because of the saggy nipples it makes me appear to have man boobs. This doesn’t do much for my self conscious or self esteem.

I consulted a doctor and he told me losing weight would help. So over the course of about 8 months I did this by means of a healthy diet (balanced, low fat and went easy on the carbohydrates) as well lots of exercise such as walking (around 90 mins), cycling (60 mins), weight lifting and push ups (30 mins), 5-6 days a week.

The problem is less noticeable, but it still remains. I saw another doctor recently, and in his opinion no matter how much exercise I did, I would never completely remove the fat. He suggested cosmetic surgery is the only way to go further.

Surely there is another way without resorting to that?

there is a post on the CKD board about "cutting gels" and spot fat reduction, that might give you some more help

I've never come across this but I have an idea anyway. If you are not already at a super low body fat percentage, check out the CKD section to find out how to get your body fat extremely low. This may help. If you are already extremely low in body fat, then you may have to resort to the surgery. Keep in mind that if you do get rid of the problem by reducing body fat to a low number, any return to a more usual body fat percentage can bring the problem back.

Good Luck.

I feel your pain Alexx. I've had the same thing since about grade 9. My nipples have always puffed up.
This summer I lost about 30lbs, and now that I've started LCing I've lost another 10lbs so far.
I've definately noticed that my "man boobs" have started to disappear. I'm really hoping to get into an extremely low body fat percentage to that it'll go away.
But I totally know how you feel about it, I always hated swimming and shit. Cuz when I took my shirt off my nipples were puffed up. Once I hit the cold water they seem to go normal though?
