Aquaholic,

What does your workout regime consist of? I am asking because it is an important piece of information for you to consider when you say that 1200 calories would be about as much as you can consume. Unfortunetly, if you want to lose weight and you are on a pretty intense workout schedule you will need to eat more than that. Even if you have to force feed yourself for a little while, while you body gets used to it. I have had to it and I'm finally losing weight again.

Good Luck on your modeling career.

Tom

LOL. Well, D~ At least your already Kate's size!!! I still have a ways to go!!! Maybe I could be the "Kate in 20 years" version and do a plus size shoot!

Tom~ You look "perfect". I can't believe that you are trying to lose more! I wish my husband was as motivated. Okay, my workout is the following (My weeks start on Sundays):

Sunday - run 4.5 miles; free weights (6-10 lbs) works arms and back; 10 minutes of sit-ups; stretching

Monday - aerobics and light resistance - 1 hour; sit-ups; stretching

Tuesday - walk/run 3 miles; free weights ; sit-ups; stretching

Wed - off (some days I do the sit ups and stretching)

Thursday - run 4.5 miles; free weights, etc.

Friday - off (family date night)

Saturday - This day I leave for "make-up" or for whatever I feel like getting to but I don't beat myself up if I don't get something in. I have three girls so if I start feeling guilty about how much I'm focusing on me, then I take this day off or get them to go to the park with me while I run or walk. Some days we take the dogs.

My husband and girls have become accustomed to making their own dinner since I'm not around much during the week. That also has been a big guilt factor in where my weight loss is concerned. I feel that I'm selfish.

Yeah, too bad she's 10 inches taller than me! Oh where oh where is the demand for short curvy women???

As to the guilt thing, I hear ya! At least for me, I had to accept that I needed to make my weight loss a BIG priority in my life, and that meant some things in my life just had to revolve around it. I had begun to develop some serious health issues that were weight related and my family was willing to get on board with what I wanted. I also tried to make sure I kept cooking some of my families favorite foods,so I didn't feel like I was depriving them. What I worried about the most was having my strong focus on weight loss have a negative affect on my daughters. I work professionally with college women with eating disorders, and I've had many of them tell me how they have been negatively affected by their mother's own body dissatisfaction and constant dieting. So, I tried to keep the focus on my need to take appropriate control of my health concerns and get to a weight that was healthy and something I could hopefully maintain with reasonable effort instead of obsessive diet-y kinds of behavior.

How do you make that "quote" thing work? Anyway, this is horrible hearing comments like that from such young girls. I know that my 21 year old is dealing with a weight issue right now that is just killing her. She is only 5'3" and in high school weighed no more than 115. She's gained about 35 lbs in the past two years (it's probably all the beer she drinks)....now that I'm going through the "losing" phase, it's really freaking her out. I feel ashamed because my body image has been poor, poor, poor all my life and I feel that now I've made her that way.

You start the quote with {quote} (use square brackets though) and end it with {/quote}

Or, what I do, is hit that little green quote button at the bottom of the post I want to quote. If I don't want to quote all of it, I just delete the parts I don't want. (Making sure not to delete the {quote}{/quote) brakets at the beginning and end of the thing I am quoting.)
