How much did you eat, and did you eat any fat/protein with it.
I find I get gas if I eat more than the recommended serving, and without protein or fats.
Some people just can't tolerate it, just as some people can't handle SA's in other products. You may just be one of those people.
If you do try it again, measure out the dry portion, cook it, mix it with meat, sauce or fat and try again.
