Default second yeast infection, now I'm worried!!!

This is my second yeast infection in the 3 1/2 months since I have been LC'ing. I know it must have something to do with this WOL as I have not had a yeast infection before this in over 15 yrs. I have been told that it couldn't be this WOl but I am not buying that anymore. does anybody else have this issue too? Does anyone have info to share on the subject?

check out this link , Taz It's about Candida and the Anti-Candida diet with many references and links. It sounds like you're sensitive , and yes, it could have everything to do with what you're eating... or some of what you're eating.

Taz.

On page 150 chapter 13 of the New diet revolution it says that you may need to cut out Cheese, Vinegar and Mushrooms and other fermented condiments.

It mentions yeast and candida which I know a little about as one of my sisters had Candida Albicans. The book also mentions Antibiotics, sugars. Birth control pill, mercury fillings and other steroids as contributory to yeast infections.

I hope this helps for the time being.

Bez

Taz, hang in there... I don't know much about Candida or the Diet and will read as much of the link as I can today, I'm sure Doreen will be along shortly with some insightful advice . In the meantime I will copy this post to the board dealing with Candida Yeast Syndrome and IBS.

Hi Tazmani! I am on the yeast free, sugar free diet and you can't have cheese on it and I noticed that you are eating quite a bit of cheese. I would consult a doctor but I believe that your system is weakened when you first go on any diet for awhile and then it gradually adjusts and gets better. I had a major candida problem and my body went through a month or so of inflammation and pain (like someone ran over me with a truck! LOL) and now it is doing great except when I cheat on the diet and eat too many carbs or any sweets. Good luck and hang in there! There are also doctors out there (usually homeopathic) that can do blood tests for candida that will help you know what is going on with your body.

Default I know only

a little about the yeast culprit...but in looking at your meals..I too would say that maybe cutting out the cheese altogether would help..and as another poster said...you may be a tad bit sensitive to any type of fermented product right now....try taking out the cheese..and see what happens..and by all means...DON"T STRESS...that will aggravate your current situation..and yes...stress causes flucuations in your blood sugar...which will aggravate a current yeast condition.

Good luck..and keep us posted.

Question 2 weeks

Hi, I have been on induction for 2 weeks. It seems I keep getting constipated and then I get a yeast infection. Last Sunday I stalled and was constipated. I have never had a yeast infection before. I paged my doctor who told me to do a one night OTC product and everything was fine. Now, I have been constipated since Friday and I got another yeast infection. I left my oil pills at home by mistake. What could be causing this? I am 41 and have never had this problem. Please help!
