Hi Debra
We're all to some degree addicted to carbs or we wouldn't
be here This forum is made up of people who know exactly the struggle you're going through. The good thing is that its
also full of people who have won the carb battle and can help
others get through theirs.
Go to the confession booth just to see we're all weak at times
or make a bad choice but you blow it off and get right back on track can't internalize too much or we wouldn't get anywhere.
You're not alone (around here) by any means.

Thumbs up You CAN do it

Debra1953,
Holidays are always the worst, especially the ones that center
around FOOD...which.... come to think of it is most ALL of them
Get your own munchies prepared and fill your cooler so you
don't feel deprived and left out. After awhile at this WOL
you'll find you get fuller faster while those around you are still
shoving stuff in their mouths because of all the cravings and
"nasties" they've triggered in their system.
Let me know how it goes. Enjoy

Being new here, I don't have many of the recipes...I just try to stick to what Sugarbusters recommend....and that is to mostly stay away from white foods. As of right now, I have alot of will power. It only happens about once ever 2 years, so I need to make the best of it...I don't feel like I'm as overweight as what the scales tell me....and even when I look in the mirror, I don't see myself as heavy... However, the scales are thruthful...that and the fact that I went to buy one of those neat "Body by Victoria" bras....I got measured and the clerk told me I needed a 40 DD. A 40 DD!!! I use to be a 38 C.....I want them back!
