Question Help Please!

I am getting tired of eating the same stuff day in and day out. I am so tired of tuna salad and boiled eggs etc. I am in desperate need of some ideas!! I need some recipes I am getting in a rut and I need some help and advice.

I am eating 20 carbs a day and havent lost anything for almost 2 weeks and nothing has changed I even started exercising. I am getting depressed in many different areas. I just need some support. Help Please.

On the otherhand I do look on the bright side I feel much better since starting this WOL and my clothes arent tight anymore, I guess I just get impatient. I realize I didnt gain this weight overnight so I shouldnt expect it to come off overnight.

I guess I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening and if you have any ideas or suggestions I am up for anything!

1) please post some menus so we can see what you're eating

2)This WOE doesnt have to be the same foods everyday. Check out the recipe forums here for lots of induction friendly ideas!

3)Are you drinking alot of water?

Thanks!

Thats wonderful that your clothes are feeling looser. You should be so proud of yourself. How about a nice beef and veggies stirfry over some cauliflower, roast with cauliflower mashed potatos and butter.Just some little ideas have a great day and try not to get discouraged

As ssofian suggested check out the recipe section, they have some great ideas for food there. You may have to do some planning in advanced but this WOE doesn't have to be boring.

I would also say not to panic that you've stalled. It happens to all of us. I went almost five months without dropping anything and then - bam - three weeks ago I dropped four pounds. As I've continued to get closer to my goal weight it is harder and harder for the weight to come off. You aren't looking to lose much so it might take more time to see that weight loss.

Hang in there!
K

Here's a good reciepe I've tried:
http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...ighlight=quiche

or this....
http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=182219

I usually take one night or day a week to cook up food for the entire week. I made chicken stir-fry last night for the week. What about buying a pork-loin? Or fish? Or some steak?

I think we all get in ruts of eating the same food. Take a few minutes to look through the reciepe section to find food that fits your cooking skills and interest in the kitchen. And try new foods and mixtures of food that you haven't in the past.

LC does not mean boring food!

i know it small comfort but you are not alone. I have been at a standstill for almost 3 months and i have much more to lose than you. Ive been trying to not let it get me down( but it does) hang in there as i have read that if you do things will start to move eventually.

You might be getting too much sodium and retaining water. How much sodium is in the sausage? Are you adding salt on your eggs? You might not be getting enough fat too. Have you tried Fitday.com? It can be a useful tool.

Yes I do put salt on my eggs. What kinds of foods or snacks is low sodium?? I will cut out the salt from now on though.
