Try doing your HIIT on alternate days of lifting.
HIIT is not recomended after lifting.
If you want to keep the fat burning going after lifting try some moderate cardio for 20-30 minutes then get some quick protein in ya.

I do HIIT Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I do Chest and tricept lifting on Tuesday. Legs, Abs, lower back, forearms, shoulders on Thursday. And back and bicepts on Saturday. I would not think HIIT and weights on the same day would be a good idea. My HIIT workouts totally fatigue me. So much so that I am not sure I am going to finish this routine.
