Default Dizziness Into Wk 3...

the other day at work i got up starting walking and got extemely lightheaded and dizzy and had to literally hold on to the wall for about 1-2 minutes. usually if i experience something like that it passes within seconds, this lasted awhile.

i thought i read somewhere about taking supplements...any suggestions??

Thanks,

Yes, this dizziness seems to kick in about week 3.... its caused by a depletion of electrolytes related to your rapid loss of water weight. Take a potassium supplement and a good multi... you should be ok in a day or two. Also, make sure you're drinking ALL your water!!

Yes, it seems to happen to quite a few people.... one symptom or another related to low potassium levels.

You might want to visit the stickie at the top of the Newbies Questions forum called "Hot LInks" .... answers to a BUNCH of questions that get asked many times here. Quite informative....I still refer to it often.
