Default Question on Calories.. help

Day 21 on induction:
No weight loss..
120oz of water...
Exerrcise 30 minutes a day at target heart range
Food ratios at Fat 73% carbs 2% protein 25%
weight at 222
calorie intake at 2200 to 2600 a day
No artificial sweetners
No caffine
Using L-Caritine to break up fat at 1500 mg.

I feel full except in the late evening..but I eat something at night
So I am never hungry
the Ketostrips show moderate color at three steps above neutral
Clothes feel the same..
here is my question.. If Atkins says the idea about this diet is to make you feel less hungry ( Which I am ) and thus less caloric intake. Low carbs ( which I have ) body in lymposis ( ketostrips )
If I lower my calories, but keep the ratios of fat carbs and protein the same.. will this help..? the fact that I am a diabetic ( but since the start of this my sugar had been perfect without the use of meds, but this doesnt tell me how much insulin my body is putting into my system..which I think may be the problem.
I will never give up..
Thanks
Bill ( E-T )

Not likely, Bill. You're just managing the baseline number of 10x body weight as it is. Increasing the number of meals you eat might help - this will also help stabilize the insulin your body releases over the course of the day and increase metabolism. But you know that already

Nat:
I am eating 2 oz of macadamia nuts a day as part of the diet.. you suggested nuts to increase my fat.. is 2 oz OK
also I am eating 4 oz of cheese..
if these are ok.. at these levels.. I am going to spread them out as an inbetween snack between breakfast , lunch and dinner.
I could probably eat 4 oz of nuts a day.. if it would help..
Thanks for your guidance.. Have you checked my journel lately?I know you are so busy here.. but with 21 days an no loss.. I really need you..
Thanks
Bill

Bill, yes, I checked your journal - I usually pop in a few times a day

Having the nuts and cheese as snacks is a good way to spread calories out throughout the day - have you cut down on the size of the protein servings you eat? I'm still convinced this will make a difference.

Bill, rather than cut try change. Try adding just ten more minutes to your cardio. If you have been
doing 30 for quite a while your body may have become used to it. Try interval training too. Intense cardio for 2 minutes then moderage cardio for 1 min. The vitrually any cardio equipment will allow you to do this. Good luck!!!!

Thanks you guys..
Yes Nat No more 10//12 0z steaks..Im eating 6 ozers now..eating tuna in two 3 oz meals.. instead of one 6 oz meal
As far a training.. I use a life cycle..it monitors heart rate, miles per hour, it ranges my tearget heart rate, speed distance, and i do several burn outs in the routine.. my tearget is 118 to 130... I do 30 mile per hour bunouts and get my heart rate up to 155/155.. for about a minute ever ten minutes.. Doctor says No more than 165.. so im staying alittle under my max.. for safety sake.
Thanks again
Bill
