Default New to all this stuff

Ok here is the deal. I am trying to lose weight, and get in to the clothes I haven't been able to get into for way too many years. I want my bikini body back.

I have never really done alot of exercising...except stationary bikes and treadmills.

Where should I start, in trying to strength train.

I would definitely start with the thread stuck at the top of this forum "Advice for the Beginner". Knoweldge is power - do some surfing through this forum in general and set some goals for yourself in specific. Be kind to yourself and be realistic. Strength training is a great way to rev up your metabolism and build some energy efficient lean mass - but it does take time and commitment. It is very worth it though

Thanks for the input. I have been following the atkins plan for about a month now, and have started to lose some weight, but very few inches. I really want to tone, and keep from having flab after the weight is gone!!!

Well your bodyfat % sure looks nice!
I agree with you, exercise is the way back into your bikini body, and you can get it fast if you want to! It takes hard work but is so rewarding.

Are you reading up on a specific plan? Or getting a personal trainer?
Anyway, you're at the right place I guess!
Lots of luck!
