I have it too. Today is my first day and it feels like I've been sucking on metal. My tongue feels "metallic"

I hope this is a good sign.

Those Listerine strips are AOK. I was concerned because they say that they use a "starch-based" delivery system. But I wrote to Listerine customer support, and they informed me that there were no carbs in them.

Thumbs up Good sign

Try drinking more water to help fight the bad breath. Ketones will be defused in urine.

Oh thank you!! I put one in my mouth and then tried to take it out 'cause I was nervous that it may have SUGAR---what a mess! It had already started to dissolve. Anyway, are you sure there are no carbs OR sugar?

Thanks!

Default Water and good old toothpaste!

Ally,
I would have to agree with Akiwican. I have been drinking a lot of water and as usual brushing after every meal and have noticed that the bad breath has subsided. Give it a try and your dentist will love you for it!

Congrats on the weight loss
Nancy

I brush my teeth after every meal - plus I drink between 100-120 ounces of water a day. I still get bad breath. I've order some chrorophyll capsules, and I will report back as to how they work. As far as the listerine pocketpacks, I am assuming no carbs = no sugar, since sugar always means carbs. Here is the text of the email they sent to me:

Ms. XXXXX

Thank you for your email. There are no carbohydrates in Listerine
PocketPaks.

Unhappy Ya me too

I got it too. Its this sikening, nausiating, sweet, metalic taste in my mouth..Waking up is the worst! lol But ya anyways, I brush my teeth alot, and rinse my mouth out alot with Listerine. I also rinse with Plax before brushing and use the Listerine strips.

Also gum helps, if you can keep chewing the same piece for a while because most have atleast 1 or 2 carbs. But its great for being in public..lol

I've also been drinking alot of DietRite (in addition to water) just to kill the taste...cept too much soda kills yer teeth so ya can't really win with that. Ah well.
