Jess...

what an awesome weight loss! Now that you're within 10 lbs. of goal, start thinking about pre-maintainance and maintainance. I know it's tempting to take off that last 10 lbs. as quickly as possible, but it really works much better to take them off very slowly as you progress through the last 2 phases. This way, you will learn how to eat to stay at your goal weight for the rest of your life instead of getting to goal quickly and then having to ask yourself, "Now what?". Keep at it...you're doing great!

Thank you guys! I will have been on atkins for what will be 4 months on the 25 of this month.

aphlat, I only eat whole foods. I don't eat shakes or the bars. I figure there is plenty of time to play with that stuff when i am at goal.

Lisa, I have been upping my carbs, that is why my recent loss has been such a surprise! A good surprise.

Thanks all for your support.

Only 4 months? That's outstanding!

What sort of things did you add in your third week?(After induction)

I'm finishing my first week of induction tomorrow and am curious how the scale will treat me. (I hid the scale under the bed all week.)
