Question ckd while working a rotating shift?

I just read for the first time about CKD and think it sounds quite interesting. One problem I see for me is I work a rotating shift. I exercise a lot now as it is, but nothing so regulated. I have a terrible time getting a.m. exercise when I drop back from night to day shift. I considered BFL as well, but didn't really like the limited amount of cardio involved. Any suggestions for individualizing CKD for my sporadic work schedule??

Do you mean that you have trouble waking up when your shift changes?

That's part of the problem, Dan. I go from working until 2am to getting up at 5am & it's damn near impossible to get up that early until I've adjusted to the new shift (which only lasts for 2 weeks, so by the time I'm used to one shift I'm on to another). I find a consistent exercise schedule rather difficult, but I usually get quite a bit of exercise in during the week, just somewhat sporadically. I would hate to carb up on the weekends, and not get my workout in on Monday. I definitely want to use those carbs for energy & not store them as fat. Since I'm off weekends, maybe I could carb up Wed & Thurs to do a good workout on the weekend? I guess I'll have it to tweak it a little to fit my crazy schedule.
