Default I messed up royal!

I can't believe I did that! I'm so mad at myself, but temtation took over. I did fine all day until I made cashew chicken with the breading of corn starch. I looked up the carb count and figured out I could eat 5 pieces. Well I had a salad with them and then the carboholic took over. Before I knew it I had downed 2 homemade pepperoni bread sticks and an ice cream cookie sandwich! I guess I underestimated the carb count in the chicken. I'm definitely not going to do that again. I'm sure I already have a headache from too many carbs. Tomorrow's another day so I'll start again. I know I like this WOE and want to stick with it for the rest of my life. Sorry this is so long I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening!

Good for you for learning so quickly how carbs call to carbs & MAKE you eat them, even if you don't want to. It never was willpower that made us fail on low fat or low cal. diets. It was the carbs that took over our blood streams and thus our brains. Wild, isn't it?

Be sure to drink a lot of water tonight and towmorrow and this will be just a slight blip on your smooth path. And eat only protein in the AM. If you feel hungery tonight, eat protein.

Tomorrow is another day. You'll do it.

Two important things:

1) Don't bother beating yourself up over this transgression, just move on from here

2) Throw out those breadsticks and ice cream cookies: if you don't have them you won't be tempted to eat them

keep drinking plenty of water and carry on where you left off...you will probably find you are more determind than ever !!

Thanks for all your words of encouragement they really helped, and yes today is a new day and I am more determined than ever to stick with this. I looked at the breadsticks this morning and to be honest I have no desire to even taste one. After my headache last night I'll be very careful to not over due my carbs!
