Default Help with icecream

I have found a reipe for icecream in my icecream maker book its
1 pint heavy cream 1 pint regular cream 1 cup sugar which i can subtiture with splenda and 1 tsp of vinilla flavoring.

My trouble is how to figure out what the carb count is for a serving I figured 1/2 cup serving would be plenty

If any one can help me out please let me know

There are 4 cups in a quart, so that would make 8 servings per recipe.

Default Heavy vs Regular Cream

Great recipes but can you tell me the difference between heavy and regular cream?
Is heavy cream the same as whipping cream?
Is regular cream the same as half & half?

I'm so confused
Thanks
