Default whey protien

question-

what is whey protien??

I've been having a hard time getting meals prepared; have always stayed away from protien shakes as I'm allergic to soy. Found one this weekend with whey protien that I want to try.

But... what exactly is that? Sounds like such a silly question. Can someone tell me?

Thanks,
Jeanette

Sorry this is about weight training...but it does explain all about WHEY PROTEIN.

Basically, Whey is just the protein part of the milk/not the sugar-carbs. You know cottage cheese when you just let it sit in the fridge for a while? You open it up and there's this watery stuff on top? That's the WHEY. The stuff on the bottom, the lumpy cottage cheese - used to be called CURDS...

Curds & whey! Now you know...read on.
