Default IT'S WORKING!!

I my scales were telling me LCing wasn't working but I tried on some clothes I want to wear on vacation and THEY FIT! They are clothes I wore last year but didn't think I had a chance of wearing them again this year. My husband had just commented a few days ago that I must be losing inches - guess I was. I am beginning to lose all respect for my scales, I'm even thinking of moving them out of my bathroom.

Just wanted to share my excitement!!

Smile Great news, Cougar!

You are really going to feel good on your vacation with those smaller clothes. Isn't it nice that your husband noticed the inches?

It's nice of you to post this news. It is encouraging to the rest of us, who are still trying to get one size smaller.

Congratulations

Good for you, cougar!

I am really opposed to scales as any measure of success, but I do think they have their place in this WOL. In my case, that place is the basement! Go ahead and try moving yours somewhere else. I bet you’ll want to weigh yourself less, and you’ll put more emphasis on how you feel, which is more important anyway.

Have fun on your vacation!

Way to go!! Isn't this just the best WOL?

You and I have almost the same stats. It's gonna be a great year--I can feel it!

Default Thanks - I'm glad I stuck with it.

Thanks for your replies.

I am so glad I stuck with it for a little while longer. I could feel some kind of change in the way I felt even before the loss in inches. I really don't know how to explain it but it motivated me to hang in there - even when the scales were jumping around trying to convince me to give up. It is really weird how I could almost make decisions based on the scale. I read a post from someone saying that sometimes it takes awhile for your body to catch up with the new way of eating, I think they were right.
