Unhappy Slowly losing hope

Another week has passed and I am still at the same weight I was at the end of induction. I am following the plan faithfully but what's the point if I am not losing the weight. I am going on a cruise at the end of the month and I wanted to look my best and time is running out. I hate to be a dark cloud on this Monday morning but this is getting old.

I checked your journal and well it hasn't been updated in months. So it is a bit hard to see exactly where the problem lies.

Without knowing what you are consuming on a daily basis it is a bit hard to help you out.

I would also like to point you to:

http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthre...&threadid=35550
That you posted Feb 27, only a few days ago.

I don't think the diet is failing you, but you failing the diet, and I am not saying that to be mean, but if you want to lose weight you really need to stay on the diet and not binge.

Smile Hi

I do hope you don't give up! I know I haven't lost anything for a month but its because I was cheating with the low carb stuff!
But more because I'm lucky to drink 1 liter of water a day instead of the 4 I'm suppose to!

I've been thinking of you and I hope your Monday, lightens up for you. Take Care.

I sowwy I smacked you Jerzee.

Forgive me?

I will be more than happy to help you out if you update that journal of yours! I tend to do the same thing. For some reason a week will seem like months, and I get down about the same danged number on the scale only to look back in my journal and see I have lost 10 pounds since December. Then you feel kind of silly for getting upset.

Hang in there I will be with you all the way!

Smile My weekend

I had a good weekend.
I had a stratagy. I bought some Nutter Butters (The wafer kind) I found that 5 squares has ~13 carbs so I ate those instead of the girl scout ones that I brought to my game.
Hows your day, going? Any better?
You know, writing in a journal is a good thing.
People really help you out if you have questions.
Take Care, Hon.
We are all cheering for you!

Smile Good morning Lessara

I am very glad to hear you had a nice weekend and it's great to know we have such a good support group here.

Now about those nutter butters, aren't they loaded with sugar?

Cool Don't feel mad -

I haven't really lost any more since induction but i only have myself to blame. Didn't really binge - but

a. haven't been drinking my water
b. haven't been exercising - today I can only because I had a test last night so no homework!!!!!
c. had a little alcohol on Sat. night (okay alot) - I definitely believe that low-carbing will turn you into a lightweight b/c I swear it felt like I got hit by a ton of bricks

BUT...
Other than that we've been so good about our eating and we're definitely feeling better.

So don't feel bad - I'm maintaining my weight and it'll come off eventually - it's not gonna melt off just for my good thoughts

Carrie
