Default a little bummed out

went to the doctor today - and their scales read 134 ... :-) i have been at 130 for about 2 weeks now and was pretty happy about it! I've decided in my head that their scales are WRONG and mine are RIGHT!!!! Otherwise I might be tempted to cheat tonight as I'm going out for drinks ....

That would be letting a mechanical apparatus get the better of you! Think about how far you have come and what you have accomplished and don't let a piece of metal and plastic dictate how you feel. You are bigger than it, and it's not the boss of you!!

All the doctors I've ever gone to seem to set their scales high. I think it's a conspiracy to scare us. Go by the scales you usually weigh on. If you use the same ones every time, you will know how much you've lost. Whether or not the weight is actually true won't matter.

Don't give up because another scales reads differently than yours.
