Default pork rind question

Ok, honestly the idea of these things disgust me, but I'm going to try them anyway.

I got a single serving bag of bbq pork rinds.
Cals 80
Fat 5g
sat fat 1.5
protein 8g
carbs 0g

I know I was warned about the sugar that might be listed. It is listed, but the disclaimer "Not a significant source of .....sugars, etc..." is on there too.

I ran it through the hidden carb calculator
under snacks 3.something carbs
under pork products 0.2 carbs

What should I trust? Thanks!!

HI!!!

I PERSONALLY WORRY MORE ABOUT THE SODIUM IN THOSE RATHER THAN THE SUGAR. EAT UP IN MODERATION!!!

Well, it's a single serving bag, so 80 cals is it.

I'm in my goal weight, but I want to decrease my body fat and tone up. lc-ing it really helps. I tend to turn into a carb addict. I love atkins and I'm looking to make it a WOL instead of WOE.

I love pork rinds...but I think the bbq ones are absolutely disgusting!! Try the plain ones before you write them off as a food you don't like.

Can't stand the greasy little bu**ers, but I know a lot of people swear by them. I was never a potato chip person, though, more of a sweets-gal, so gimme sugar free candy anyday as a treat Cath

I have a question...
Do guys think if im in ketosis.. neccesarily means im burning fat? i dont have a strip test or anything like that but i could tell by my piss.. *sorry to disgust you *
AND im drinking lots of water maybe 5 liters a day and eating like crazy, is it normal to be always thinking of food and be hungry and never get satisfied?

Please let me know, thank you .

I am not a big fan of the taste...so I don't eat them as a snack...

However...as a binder for crab or salmon cakes, meat loaf...it works quite well. Also I have used it as a crust for oven-fried chicken (this is a recipe in Karen's book).

It definately is useful in the low carb world.

I heard about pork rinds as a chip substitute if you want to make a taco/salsa dip and they were pretty good. I used ground beef with just a little taco seasoning, cheese sour cream and guacomole. It was pretty good but you dont need a whole lot to fill up.
