Exclamation Help!! Dessert Party!

Ok, so on V-day, our office is having a dessert party and I'm trying to think of things to do to keep me in line. I THINK I will be ok, but I just need to have a backup plan.

So far what I've come up with is to buy some of the LC chocolate, particulary the Delite dark chocolate and just suck on small pieces throughout. The other thing is I thought maybe I could mix up some mock danish and take it along.

Any other suggestions??

Peace,
T

If you're looking to take something I would suggest the No Bake Vancouver Cheesecake of Karen's. It has been a hit with everyone I have ever made it for - LC and high carb alike. And then YOU could have something if you wanted it.

The recipe is under 'Low Carb Recipes' above in orange highlight.

Talking My suggestion

These are my personal favorite. If I were you, I would take these and offer them as the "sugar free alternative dessert"....hehe....and the No bake Vancouver Cheesecake is also a winner

Low Carb Brownies

2 oz . unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Splenda
2 eggs
1/3 cup Atkins bake mix
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extractnone

Carefully melt chocolate with butter. Do not let chocolate boil or burn. Beat well. Add eggs and beat well. Add baking mix and salt and beat well. Add vanilla. Pour into greased 8x8 pan and spread evenly. Bake at 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick. If slightly underdone brownies will be more chewy. Let cool in the pan and cut into 16 pieces. 1.6g. each.
