Accomplished all my planned workouts yesterday with the exception of the abs... I need to figure out a way to incorporate them. I guess I should do them first as by the time the others are done, I'm spent and can't work up the willpower to tackle Keanu and his swarm of mad instructors The bike ride was truly hellacious with the 80 mile/hour winds and flying dust bunnies...who knew dust bunnies could fle?!? Just kidding, but the wind was blowing fairly hard and as I tried to up-shift, my gears jumped and I fell off and hit my crotch on the bike seat  Not nice. I will be more careful next time. S/O carefuly expained (post my garage language fit) that the bikey doesn't like it when you try to up-shift if you are on a hill, and that perhaps I should start in a lower gear than I need and DOWNshift when appropriate... Thanks S/O. I you

Tonights planned activities are:
Standing Legs
Abs Day1
(no run, the weather is too icky...)

Got in 3/4 of the Standing Legs last night and Day1 of abs (I don't know WHY I can't get past that 3/4 mark. Must be some kind of mental block. I think if I rested a little bit more between each set, I might have a better time of it. I'm going to try that on Thurs. I will finish the last two sections tonight either before or after upper body...) Feeling good, feeling thin, but time will tell
Did the abs first and that seemed to help. Not only did I have more energy, but it also helped warm me up. Made the leg video easier. I always skip the warm up part
Tonights planned activities are
Upper Body, Day2 and KILLER bike ride (and finish off last 2 sections of standing legs; prior to bike ride)

Just looking out for you and your, umm, seat... I've broken chains before trying to shift to a lower (easier) gear while going uphill and exerting alot of "torque" on the pedals... Nothing worse than finding yourself on a back-country trail with a broken chain...

For the record, I am very impressed with your persistence in "getting back on the bike", so to speak...

YOU ROCK! Keep up the good work! You are really doing well and I, for one, have noticed the results (grrrrrrrroooowwwwwwllllll).

Got in all planned workouts last night with the exeception of KILLER bike ride. It was raining too hard to feel safe on the road, so we watched baseball instead

Tonights planned activities are:
Standing Legs and Day3 (maybe bike ride if the weather is good?)

Talking My Owwie...

Ummmm, yeah JB, I can't lift my arms over my head... Good thing we didn't get on the bikes, cause I couldn't have possibly steered the thing...

Thanks for keeping me on track with the weights and abs...

Well, like DB said, we didn't get ON the bikes last night..consequently, my only exercise yesterday was lifting the MACHO COMBO burrito from my lap to my lips

C'est la vie..there is always tomorrow

No planned activities tonight...WAIT! Hold the phones! I'll be shopping at the mall tonight, so there will be walking!!! Oh yeah, I always manage to fit some exercise in ..and while I'm at it, I may as well squeeze in the 6-9 minutes of AB work. What the hell! Day3, here I come~

This week is going to be HECTIC, so I'm going to have to shuffle expertly to get my workouts in. The weather is NOT cooperating either...it's freakin' snowing here....so I may be stuck inside.

Main focus this week is going to be Legs <ugh> as I have a super-short skirt to wear on Friday. I know, I know...4 days are NOT going to make that big a difference, but I have to think motivation.

Tonight is supposed to be upper body and bike ride. If it quits snowing, I will ride the bike. If not, perhaps Standing Legs and Upper Body.

Nothing to report unless sewing counts as exercise...No? Exercise efforts will continue next week post Halloween.

Question Sewing...

Perhaps by itself, no... Considering the fact that it was 120 degrees in the living room AND you were sewing, I'm sure there was some benefit...

Time to hit the track at Hillcrest?
