http://www.grandmanannb.com/dulse.htm
states that it is 44% carbs
that doesn't sound too good. But
http://www.lauralee.com/udo/ffb.htm
states it is rich in fibers.

But that result was for 100Grams of dulse, wouldn't that be an awful lot!! considering it is dried - I'm trying to imagine 100grams of dried basil or oregano in comparison, that would be a mountain of it. 100 grams is over 3 oz - so don't you just eat a tiny bit of dulse and even at 44% carb content that wouldn't be overly high - or DO you eat a lot of it, it just seems like the kind of thing you might eat a leaf or two of. I couldn't find the fibre listing of it anywhere. It said 44 carbs for 100gram - so a 10gram portion wouldn't be a lot then there would be whatever fibre to be deducted. It does seem to be awfully nutritious.

You could extract from those figures that there would be 4 grams of Carbs per 10 grams of dulse. But there is nof fiber listed there. Is there none? I'll go and check with google.

This site: http://www.organickingdom.com/co186.html shows dulse to have 3 gm of carbs with 2 grm of fiber = net carb of 1 gm in 1/3 of a cup or 7 grams.
