Unhappy Veggie and Atkins Induction new starter!

Hi all
My husband bought me the Atkins New Revolution Diet Book for Christmas! I have now started it and am finding it a bit difficult. Being a veggie (no meat nor fish), I am eating the veggie bacon and the veggie chicken slices for breakfast. Is this ok do you think and must I add these carbs to the total intake or are these "free" as in meat?

Help!!!

Hi fine! Nice huband you have!

Sorry! You have to count them as carbs. All carbs are not created equal, but a carb is a carb. It can't be changed.

Vegetable protein products - tofu, tempeh, miso, TVP, etc. contain carbs.

Default Hi Karen

Thank you for reply re: the carbs.
Did you find it difficult to count carbs at first?
Will it come naturally?
I so want this to work

In the introduction forum under Newbies questions there is an article I wrote on carb counting and how to make it easier. It becomes second nature in no time!
