I hear ya....Just say "NO!"

So do you take a yoga class???? If so, do you like it. One of my friends was all gung ho about it and then all of a sudden she doesn't even talk about it....so I am thinkin' she gave it up. (But she is certainly not one to stay motivated!!!!)

You are off to a great start this week Kath!!!! You keep me motivated!!!

Hello Gym Log!

Well, I was bad...didn't make it to the gym on Tuesday! Actually fell asleep when I got home from work! What the?

But, I did go on Wednesday.....so that makes 2 days so far this week!

10 minutes + 3 minutes cool down on elliptical
1 hour weights

Planning on going tomorrow and Saturday morning, so that'll make 4 days at least!

I used a new leg machine today and man, I can feel it today! Oops! New muscles!!

Whew...I'm back

Missed a day or two there...

Day 3 (Friday) .....5 minutes warm up --bike
60 minutes weights mixed w/cardio

Day 4 (Saturday)...10 minutes warm up --elliptical
60 minutes weights
10 minutes bike

off to the Renaissance Faire tomorrow....so walking/hiking all day in the forest! Yay!

Hello Journal...

just got back from the gym....day 1 for this week!

5 minutes bike
60 minutes weights
10 minutes elliptical

yipes! stay off the elliptical for a bit and the thing kicks your butt when you go back on!

walked/hiked all day yesterday at the fair....if anyone's going to be in the upstate ny/syracuse area....I highly recommend this festival.... Sterling Renaissance Festival I've been going there since I was a kid and it's still fun! It was DH's first time....I'll post pics in my gallery as soon as we get the disposable camera developed. Stayed low-carb too! Had a Caesar salad for lunch (actually it was called Lord Atkins Caesar Salad....cute!) ...even though they put croutons on it....oh well, can't win 'em all! Then I had a roasted turkey leg for dinner. Yum Yum Yum Yum

although I've been lapse in keeping my journal up-to-date...rest assured...I'm still workin' it!

Went to the gym Wednesday and today...for a total (so far) of 3 days. cardio & weights....Kristin (my trainer) has me doing new ab crunches that absolutely kill and I even worked some free weights today! Woo hoo!! Look at me....workin out like a pro!

Planning on going to the gym tomorrow morning as well...making 4 days this week! Back to working nights next week (3:30pm-midnight), so I have 3 trainer sessions scheduled (M,W,F) before work next week...hopefully I can sneak in one or two more!

Built....yea...free weights...they're hard!!

I went to the gym again today...4 days this week! Woohoo! I posted in Dawn's journal that my goal for July is to make it to the gym over 50% for the month. I made a calendar on Excel and when I go to the gym, I get to colour the day pink. I currently have 10 pink days and 7 white! Yay!!

Tomorrow is a day of "rest" (meaning no gym...but there's never really rest, is there? ) and then back to the gym on Monday!

Day 3 this week!

5 minutes cardio, 60 minutes weights & abs

Not sure if I'll make it to the gym tomorrow...depends how much earlier I wake than DH as we have grocery shopping and laundry to do before I head to work.....but I wouldn't mind getting 30 min of cardio in...we'll see! One day at a time!!

Haven't gotten to the gym for the past few days....DH's birthday was yesterday, and we celebrated the whole weekend! Oh well, back to the gym for me today. :shrug:
