Default A brief whine

I was out to dinner last night, and the topic of LC came up. Several vocal folks immediately said that they were sick of it, wanted it to go away. I didn't have the strength to argue, but their response was mightily irritating to me.

thanks for listening. And now, I think it's nearly time to go find my morning eggs.

also, if any of you are interested in research, go to the media watch/research threads and find the research article on Atkins v LF, funded by the Americal Heart Association - I'm printing it out now!

People are ALWAYS getting onto something and moaning about it!! It makes me so mad that I no longer can be bothered to participate in the conversations, so like you i just sit and listen - it's funny how many of the folk who slag off atkins or LC in general have not got a weight problem or have never tried the diet!!
xx

I'm the same way. Everytime I am around people who get on the topic of LC diets, I find that they have so little accurate knowledge. They really do not understand the science behind it and often either a.) haven't had a carb addiction or a weight problem or b.) do other diets but have never tried LC. Occasionally I will argue it's merits and point things out but many times I just knod and smile.
