Today I went to Ballys for the first time.

I warmed up for 10 minutes on the treadmill and then stretched. I don't run yet so I walked 3.0-3.3 mph at an incline between 0-2.0

Then I fiddled around at the weight machines:
3 sets of 8-15.
I worked out my quads (two different machines), inner and outter thighs, and my calves.
Then I worked on my chest, biceps, triceps, and shoulders.

I biked for 25 minutes at level 3.

Then I did a little abs and stretched.

I felt good going to the gym afterwards. I actually didn't think I'd make it today; I felt lazy in the beginning.
I started off pretty slow and easy. I'll build it up this week. I use to strength train hard core a few years back but I need to start off easy.

Good luck!

RD

Today I woke up at seven in the morning to get to the gym at 8. I knew that I wouldn't skip going to the gym but -wow- I didn't want to get out of that bed!

Today I:
warmed up for 10 mins. on treadmill
stretched/ abs: 3 sets of 35 crunches and 2 sets of "side crunches" with a 10 lbs. weight.
15 mins. on treadmill
15 mins. on ecliptical
22 mins. on bike

I wasn't supposed to lift weights today but I couldn't resist. I'd rather strength train any day than do cardio.

Inner/outter thighs 3 sets of 15 ~ 50-60 lbs.
Thighs 3 sets of 10 ~ 45 lbs.
Calves 3 sets of 12 ~ 15 lbs.

I feel great after working out. I love that I sweat and I'm sore and tired. It makes me feel like I got a good work out.

Today I had to go w/o my work out buddy.

I did the usual Tuesday and Thursday routine except I didn't lift any weights and I'm really proud of myself that I actually did 55 minutes of cardio today.

Breakfast:
One egg omlette with cheese
Lunch:
2 low carb fajita wraps with ground beef, cheese, sour cream, olives, jalapenos
Dinner:
Left over from lunch without the fajita wraps. Subsitute wraps with lettuce.

Today was supposed to be my day off from the gym but I didn't have anything better to do *go figure - it's a saturday!* so I did my 55 minutes of cardio and the usual abs.

I tried running today but I only ran for about 9 minutes and I was huffing and puffing too much. Didn't want the guy next to me to get worried ::laughs::

I didn't feel too well though after I worked out. I got through about 35 minutes of cardio and just wasn't feelin it. Maybe it was the running. Too much for my big ass! But I slowed down and finished the rest of my cardio.

Breakfast:
Cheese fajita
Lunch:
Steak and some veggies
Dinner:
Tuna salad with lotsa fresh lettuce
Snack:
Pork rinds and melted cheese <--- yum!

Yesterday I gave myself a break from the gym and played golf instead. It was HOT!

Today I am going to do my usual strength training in my arms and legs and then cardio.

This made me giggle. I feel the same way sometimes about running. It could be the pregnancy or something but after about 10min I am dieing. About 2 years ago I could run 2 miles in 15min and got down to 176 doing it too now I get so out of breath I feel like my head is going to explode!!

Well I went to the gym today. I wasn't very happy with the scale ::makes face:: but whatever :outs::

I did 50 minutes of cardio on the treadmill. And I did 110 crunches and 3 sets of 12 of the side bend things with 25 lbs. weights.
I think I'm doing the cardio all wrong. I feel like I'm burning off lots but it says I only burn about 400 calories. My boyfriend went on the eliptical for 30 minutes and burned 530. Ass.

I had 2 chicken wings
Snacked on pork rinds and tobasco sauce
2 double cheeseburgers from McDonalds w/o the buns *oops*
Soup with chicken (no sugar)
And I'm going to have a salmon salad.
Does that sound like a lot?

I skipped a log because I was pi$$y that I wasn't losing anything but if you were refer to my journal, I feel much better!

Yesterday I did:
10 minute warmup/ stretched/ abs.
strength train on my lower and upper body; increased weights by 10 % on the inner and outter thighs.
cardio for 30 minutes.
cooled down.

i ate the entire day: salmon salad.
*i don't want my food to be rotton, so i just take out a chunk of something from the freezer and i eat it until it's gone <--- no originality here!

Today:
10 minute warmup/ stretches/ abs
50-55 minutes of cardio.

breakfast:
leftover italian sausage, 2 chicken wings.
lunch:
ground pork - mexican style with cheese and jalapenos and lettuce
dinner:
probably same as above.
**OOPS.. i also had a few beef patties late at night.. I WAS STARVING!**

Well today I'm suppose to do my usual Fridays: lift weights and then 30 minutes of cardio.
But I'm really tired today and didn't go to sleep until really late *or eary - however you wanna see it* and I'm nowhere near my gym so we'll have to see.
I don't think it'll be a problem if I skip the gym today because I'll make it up and go on Sunday - my rest day-.
I'll edit this journal as the day goes by.

Well I haven't been to the gym in two days. It's no excuse but I've been busy lately just trying to put everything together before I move to California and open up my own restaurant. I'm hoping I can make it to the gym tomorrow. If it's worth anything I walked to Barnes and Nobles and I got some abs done. Maybe I'll try some pilates.

Breakfast:
2 eggs with cheese and mushroom and sausage.

Lunch:
Tuna salad with cheese and olives.

Dinner:
Chicken soup *homemade*

Snack:
1 cup of ice cream

Total carbs: about 20
