WORKOUT 2

abs 3 minutes

LEGS

Barbell Squat (60lbs) 3 sets of 15-12-10 (no Dh squat rack this time..picked up bar on my own.) Hey Built...it's nice to have a cuddly squat rack..but, I think one that stays in place and doesn't walk away is more convenient.LoL

Barbell Straight leg Deadlift 80lbs 3 sets of 15-12-12

Seated leg extensions 3 sets of 10-10-10
(45lb).

SHOULDERS & TRICEPS

Upright rows (40lbs) 3 sets of 7-5-4 (less rest time)

Arnies- 3 sets (25lbs) 15-10-8

Bent Over Dumbbell Rear Delt Raise With Head On Bench
3 (15lb) sets of 15-12-12

Incline Dumbbell Flyes - With A Twist

3 sets (15lb) of 8-5-3

I'm making a list of things for my Bday next month..I told Dh that it all involves weights..vitamins/protein powder/glutamine...along those lines.

Light Cardio after lifting 20min 3.5miles on Stationary bike.

I swear the older I get the more "boring" my birthday wish list becomes. I never would have thought as I kid I would be asking for workout stuff. LOL

Keep up the great work, it's showing!

LoL mle_ii...I'm actually looking forward to all this "boring" stuff.

Todays WO (non-lifting day)...Light Cardio 30min (level 3) 4.8 miles 246cals. 25 pushups.

Last Cardio WO...kept it at level 2 on my stationary bike..forgot to record the 21 pushups afterwards.

That wraps it for today.

Hi Divina -

Holy Cow, girlfriend! 25 pushups is GOOD!

Pushups are anaerobic - have you tried doing them BEFORE your cardio? You might find they feel MUCH better when you do them that way.

And good job!

Thanks Built...I keep thinking I'm not going to do any type of anaerobic WO on non-lifting days but, then end up including some pushups anyways..so I might as well do it before my cardio when I'm not so tired. Thanks for the reminder.

BTW Guess who's picture I was thinking while working out today? Yours of course!

LoL Built...this forum should include a 'bashful' smilie too.

Thanks for the constant support/encouragement hun!

My Dh mentioned something yesterday...he said "Imagine what you will look like 6 months from now?"

You know I really hadn't even thought of it...I'm just taking it day by day but, the thought of what I'd look like 6 months from now..I don't know? I just hope it's something close to what you look like now Built. Though I know I will need a lot more years to look as great as you do... I'll just keep on going...there is no turning back for me now...no way!!

Divina, you're on FIRE!

Have hubby take some really good (fully flexed) front, side and back pix if you haven't already. Do the same once a month or so, same level of undress, same lighting. And take your measurements. Left and right bicep, calf, thigh, your waist, hip, bust.

I JUST started doing this in March, and I am SO GLAD I did because the scale has only gone from about 143 to about 138 in that time, but my measurements and my pix tell a more compelling story.

I am SO PROUD OF YOU!
