I don't weigh myself at all. I just go by how my clothes fit.

I had to weigh myself at my mother's to post my stats, since I don't even own a scale!

how often to weigh?

I have no idea...... I can't remember the last time I was on a scale. I guess it depends on your curiousity.

I weigh in each morning, unless I forget. I find it motivating because I'm always weighing less than what I started at.

Thanks everyone for posting what you think would be a good idea in regards to weighing ourselves.

There's a great biography by a women named Sandra Dalka-Prysby, "Slow but Sure" is the title of her biography. After reading her book within two days, I knew that a compulsive eater like myself would do good to take heed to her suggestion of only weighing myself monthly.

I highly recommend this biography to anyone who is a compulsive, binge or emotional eater, or for anyone who would like to help a friend. You can relate to her story 100%. You can buy it online for about 2 bucks, used or borrow it from your public library.

Thanks again, to everyone who posted.

I haven't weighed myself since I restarted lowcarbing 3 weeks ago. I have learned that I get too upset if I'm sticking to the plan 100% and haven't lost an ounce or, even worse, if I've gained an ounce. My clothes are getting looser every day, so that's all I need to know. I'll weigh myself again when I'm in my goal size 10.
