Default My Accomplishments

I had the courage to quit a job/company that I was great at and challenged but treated very awful. Toward the end, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't keep food down, I was losing my hair (not good for a 33 year old woman), and I wasn't me anymore. I realize now that I left not because I failed but because I deserve better. And now I have something better. (Raspberries to them!!)

I started a new job paying 25% more and only expects 40 hours a week out of me (instead of 60-70).

I started exercising --- and now I'm running 7-8 miles in an hour or so 3 times a week. (former Army officer)

I started the Atkins program and lost 25 pounds. It inspired me to develop good habits like drinking 64 oz of water every day, exercising, cutting out SUGAR (I am SUCH an addict and cannot let my guard down yet) and other bad carbs, and eating salads daily. What a turnaround!!

I took swimming lessons after years of just talking about it.

I went to Aruba and looked darn good in a bikini---who'd ever think THAT was possible?

I am now the lowest weight I've ever been in my adult life.

Here's to many more years of health and vitality for us all! Happy New Year!

K.
