Smile 30 day no weigh challenge,,,

is ther anyone out there who will join me?
I have found that frequent weighing is an emotional roller coaster that often sets the tone for my whole day. As a result of that, I have decided to try and not weigh till July 10th. I will put my scales away, maybe even have DH hide em from me. I will stick to plan and not cheat, drink my water and exercise some, and see what a happens in amonth.
Anybody wanna join me????

If U didnt start this thread I would have...
I weigh myself at least 5 times a day.
So much is going on in my life and the scale is just adding to my problems. I will continue to measure if that's okay....weekly.

But I'm with ya my friend...no weighing until July 10th.

I would but I am already on a limited scale thing myself. 2 weigh-ins before the 26th. I found my moods at the mercy of the scale. Good on loss days. Bad on gain days.

oh boy this one is definately for me!!! I am restarting induction on monday though. I have been on a yo yo roller coaster lately. Well as for me i have a HUGE, did i say HUMONGUS bad habit w/ the scale. I weigh everyday, SEVERAL times a day, and that through out the day affects my mood as well.

So i KNOW since i havent lc in a week or so, my weight is up! But i WILL NOT weigh myself until 7/10 is it??

I can do it I NEED TO DO THIS!!!! My mood, my life should NOT revolve around a stupid scale now should it???!!!! NOPE : )

Okay I am totally in. It is going to be really tough but I won't weigh myself again until July 11th. I have switched from Atkins to Protein Power so this is a great test.

Great to see all you folks ready to take the challenge!! I think it will be fun, and might even break that weigh ever day habit!!
The funny thing is, this morning I woke up and thought, I feel like I've lost, wonder what I weigh!!!!But Im not till July 10th!!
We can do this,,,,one hour at a time if we have to!!
But I'm not giving up the measuring tape!

Day 1 and it was sorta liberating not rushing to the scale first thing in the morning....naked in my hallway.

Good luck all!!

Today i weighed myself and I am up 1 lbs. The scale keeps staying the same, but I feel like i am losing weight. It is very frustrating. I am going to try not weighing myself for a week. Its funny how i find it harder to give up the scale then i do bread!

I'm in on this one for sure! I hate the scale, and sadly drawn to it at least twice a day.

I have the scale problem also. I am back on the wagon after I fell off for sometime and I stepped on the scale the first day which was last wed June 9 and I have not gotten on it since. Probley becasue we moved since last time and the scale is in the basement(good place for it if you ask me). So I am joining this challenge. But I can tell you I will need a lot of support for my will power for the scale is not so good.

Hey everybody, this is like breaking an addiction cold turkey!!!!
I am used to having that scale in the corner of the kitchen and stepping on whenever I want to, My daughter, who is on weight watchers, tried em the other day and about fainted. WHen she went to her meeting she called, she said mom, your scales weighed me 9 pounds heavier thatn WW!! Now THAT really makes me wanna throw em away!! But I read somewhere that no two scales hardly ever weigh the same. So why are we such slaves to em??? If they are all little liars,,,why do we care what they say?? Besides, I dont care what the pounds say, as long as the inches have a loss!!!
Hang in there!!!!
