Default New to Low Carb!!!

Hi Everyone! I am just starting out on Atkins again! I tried this about a month ago and lost about 5 pounds in 5 days, but some reason I stopped. I am wanting to lose about 15 pounds by July 16th. With me losing 5lbs in 5 days I think that is a good goal. Any tips or encouragement would be appreciated.

Thanks

- Drink copious amounts of water.
- Use www.fitday.com to keep track of every single morsel of food you ingest.
- DON'T omit veggies from your diet (almost all your carbs should come from green leafies, cucumber, celery etc during induction).
- Drink copious amounts of water.
- Stay away from diet soda.
- Forget that bread, rice, pasta, etc even exist. Do not look for low-carb replacement foods for high-carb foods that you miss. Also avoid low-carb bars, shakes, etc. You will fare better without them.
- Drink copious amounts of water.
- EXERCISE.

All JMHO, of course

Default Veggies!

See veggies are my problem. I don't eat any of them. So I am usually at 5-10 carbs a day. But I still lost weight before.

I've just started the diet couple days ago. When I used Fitday
I found I was not getting enough carbs. Once I increased that and my water I found I got over the tired, no energy feeling fast. I also found I need to eat more often to keep my energy up. Try just nibbling on raw veggies for snacks.
Good luck

When you lose weight fast, you're more likely to put it back on fast.

Better idea is to learn the program and be happy with slow 'n steady. It'll serve you well in the future...

When I was losing at my fastest rate, I lost 1.5 - 2 pounds per week.
