Default figured I would add on my gym stuff

Well I do work out...,..At the gym about 40 mins on the steppper and then weights
Free weights for arms
machines for legs and butts
ball crunches for abbs

Going to go tonight after din din

stepper 35 mins
free weights for arms- row and pull up-1 rep-

legs and butt-machines-only 1 rep -
crunches on the ball-45

Thursday-
well this is my plan for tonight's w/o

3 min warm up then weights
arms-row-12lbs-3 reps(7)
pull ups-12lbs the same
biceps-12 lbs same reps

butt and thighs the machines-going for 2 reps-maybe increase some weight

Crunches-I mix them in after I finshed one machine I do a rep of 12

40 mins of stepper


I hope I can get in 40 mins on the stepper-gym is closing a tad early tonight-




Well have to go buy toddler beds since Jace is escaping so won't be going to the gym----maybe I can fit in weights at least

Sunday-
did weights frist-I was so tired that i only did 27 mins on stepper. I did do short reps though on my arms


TUESDAY-I did cardio first to see if I could get through my whole cardio first but only did 35 mins on treadmill-stepper was busy
did free weights for arms here at home
crunches-44
only did thighs no butt-I am beingwimpy

This week I was really bad about doing any sort of actually working out. I did pack up most of my house and lifted those heavy boxes-That should count a bit-just a bit!

tuesday-30 steppers-
arms-row and 2 sets of 7 pull ups and

no crunches
butt machine-12 reps
thigh or legs( sort of like chicken) 12 reps-glutes and thighs

FINALLY made it back to the gym after we moved......only took me almost 3 weeks. Was very lazy though only 20 mins on treadmill barely had it up that high. Weights not much-only 1 rep of 12.

Hey there twin -

If I could make a suggestion that will not only work better(burns more fat, builds muscle better), but also feel more pleasant to do (and therefore might coax you into the gym more often...)
do your weights first, THEN do your cardio. There's a link on the first page of my journal about this, and a number of threads around the exercise forums as well.

And good for you for getting back to it!

137.5 and made it to the gym to day and thursday once again I am trying to get back down to 135-I can do it, I can do it, I can do it!!

I made it to gym 2x this week thank God!
I did my weights first this time-
2 sets of 12-legs
Free weights arms
20 minutes treadmill-would like to go longer on it--soon

Yesterday-
Weights first again-I feel better when I do them first.
I am really want to look more toned-my arms still look like chicken wings.....
I did weigh 138.5 today though...Oh well
I also didn't too much of cardio-Does anyone else think that cardio isn't as necessary as weights? Just wondering....

Focus on your lifting. It does more.

I don't even want to think about only doing weights or cardio. I feel a need to do both, plus occassional Yoga for stretching to avoid injury. But, then again, I'm the obsessive-compulsive type so don't listen to me. As long as you're doing some form of exercise you are ahead of most folks on this planet. And......Built is right, if you really only have time for one type of exercise lifting does more for you overall.
