Default BMR , calories, LBW help!

Ok, I will say in advance I did read Atkins cover to cover and am still confused.

I have repeatedly read dont eat too little or your body will go into fast mode.
On Fitday my BMR is calculated at 1807 based on my weight of 247.

The posts repeatedly say BMR is 10-12x your body weight. That would be
2470 calories.

Or do you multiply 10x lean body weight, and how do you calculate that?

I am in week three and have only lost 3 pounds. I am afraid I am doing something wrong.

My fitday tells me that I am consuming an average of 1770 calories a day,
71% fat, 27% protein, 3% carb (16grams).

Is consuming 127 grams a day of protein too much -will this turn to glucose?
I have been in ketosis since second day.

Fitday calculates my lifestyle requirement as 1175, BMR as 1807 for total calories burned a day at 2982.

If I believe that based on my calorie deficit from the beginning I am eating about 1000 calories less each day than burning which would be a loss of
2 pounds a week easily. This is not happening.

While I am day 18 of Atkins, I was on another diet plan for six weeks before the switch, and lost 30 pounds, so my total loss is 33 pounds for almost 9 weeks.

I welcome suggestions. God bless you all for taking time to help me.
Karen

Welcome Karen. If I were you I would concentrate on the carb intake alone at this point. When you near your goal weight you may want to consider the calories but don't sweat them at this time.
You may be losing inches when not losing pounds and a loss of one pound a week is actually good.

hiya karen! i agree with HIll...try to just concentrate on carbs at this point. dont forget that stressing will cause fat storage too....so try and relax and be confident that you are doing fine. just keep your carbs right at 20 a day or so ( not too much lower) and remember to equally balance your proteins and veggies....this really worked for me!

hope you have a great weekend!
