Hi everyone

Today I'm looking for your words of encouragement. I'm only on week 2 and the weight is going slow this week and I'm about to head out the door to a luncheon with a few ladies for a birthday celebration lunch (not mine).

Please tell me, to pass on the bread that they put in front of me on the table and say 'no' to that glass of wine and say no to the creme brulee. Because, I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow on the scales if I say no.

Send forward your encouraging words as I am weak!

Thanks
Ann-Marie

Just think about how proud of yourself you will feel when you refuse those items and continue losing weight. I passed on Krispy Kreme doughnuts the other day. It was hard, but I felt a great sense of accomplishment afterwards.

Thanks for the encouragement! I have to go now so I'll remember how you passed up on Krispy Kreme doughnuts and vow myself to be as strong.

Keep in mind that there are so many yummy choices available on Atkins. That should keep you strong and moving in the right direction. Fill up on the legal stuff and don't even look at the illegal stuff. If you can hold out, the rewards are well worth it! Good luck.

Well I did it!

I had 1/3 of a glass of wine, 2 scallops with were wrapped in bacon (quite yummy) and a greek salad. I passed on desert and the chocolates that the rest had.

I'm not feeling bloated and I feel good that I made good choices.

Thanks!

Ann-Marie,

I know you can do it.... pass up those carbs and be strong.
Just think how good you're gonna look when you try on a thong.

Ann-Marie,
Congradulations on making it thru a tough time. I know you must feel pretty proud of yourself. Give yourself a pat on the back.
