Default Cheesecake

Ok I have another question pertaining to a dessert. Is cheesecake allowed in phase 1? If not how come? Or how can it be modified? Thanks again

You'd want to find a recipe that used a sugar substitute and a reduced fat cheese. Good luck.

I found one that uses a sugar substitute and I usually buy the lite cream cheese.

That should be fine! I had crustless cheesecake everynight while I was on Induction and I lost 11lbs the first week and 4lbs the second week! So its up to you!

in the SB book it says you can have cream cheese substitute, dairy free. i am not sure what that even is but it doesn't sound like it would make very good cheesecake however the dairy stuff has been modified since the book came out so that may have changed....

Ya gotta remember SB is low fat compared to Atkins so I dunno about it but I have my doubts. I have heard of a Cheesecake type recipe made with cottege cheese...the ricotta dessert ideas.... not quite the same but along those lines....
